Cary made a fantastic meatloaf last night. He invented the recipe on the spot. Turkey meat, seasoned bread crumbs, cumin, red pepper, egg whites, whole lemongrass and a grain mustard crust with sesame seeds. Mmm mmm good.
You can see the lemongrass sticking out at both ends. It was just for seasoning, it was removed before we ate it.
This rivals my dear mom's meatloaf, and that's a serious meatloaf. We need to have a loaf-off to see who is the proper authority on meatloaf making.
