Buongiorno!

Hi Everyone! Cary and I are in Italia. I apologize for the lack of contact or blogging. There was no WiFi in our hotel in Venice. I'm writing from Florence, but back dating this so that you can see what we've done and where we've been each day.

We left LA on Thursday. Mom took us to LAX at 4am (thanks, Mom!). The line was hella long at LAX for that early in the mornig. To make a long flight story short, we stopped at JFK, and we got to Milan airport at 8am on Friday. That's about 20 hours into our 24 hour journey to Venice. I could have gotten to Iran with that much time, but anyway. Here's a gorgeous shot of the Alps that Cary took as we flew into Milan.
From Milan Malpensa airport, we took a bus to the Statzione Centrale (central train station in Milan). It really is a lovely, grand station. Its covered in advertisements, unfortunately, and lots of repairs and rennovations being done on the old marble facade. It was pretty cool anyway.
Trying to figure out which train to take, was a little hairy cuz we were soo out of it.

Next post, arriving in Venice. We're off to enjoy Firenze. Ciao!
